How to Use All Modalities in the Classroom
Kinesthetic learning occurs through interacting with educational materials.
Learning
modalities are the methods by which individuals experience and learn
about the world around them. The major learning modalities are visual,
auditory and kinesthetic. Visual learners learn best by seeing
information. Auditory learners absorb information best when they hear
it. Kinesthetic learners comprehend best by physically interacting with a
concept. Most people learn through a combination of these modalities,
with one modality being stronger than the others. Keep your lessons
interesting and help your students learn more efficiently by using all
of the modalities in your classroom.
