Punjab Bords have decided to start intermediate exams 2013 from May, 2013
Lahore, The Punjab Boards Committee of Chairmen has
decided that the intermediate annual examinations 2013 will begin on
May 7, 2013 in the nine boards of the Punjab.
The committee also decided that admission forms for secondary school (annual) examinations for 2013 will be received till Jan 3.
Lahore Board Chairman Nasrullah Virk will serve as PBCC chairman for one year.
Also, Punjab boards, particularly the Lahore, are facing problems as most private candidates for[Only admins are allowed to see this link] have not submitted their admission forms online and the boards are extending the forms submission dates.
It was further informed that Lahore board was expected to receive
around 450,000 admission forms. However, the board has received only
20,000 private candidates’ admission forms online. Up to 236,000 forms
of [Only admins are allowed to see this link] have been received and waiting for remaining around 25,000 forms.
As private candidates are facing problems in uploading their admission
forms, the Lahore board has started collecting private candidates’
admission forms manually and would upload it through its own officials.
A board official said that all government high schools had IT labs and
they were able to send admission forms online but private candidates
were facing problems in getting the IT facility.
In Punjab, Intermediate Date Sheet 2013 of all educational boards of
Pakistan will be announced one month before the commencement of the
exams. Intermediate exams mostly held in the month of April or May
every year.
In Pakistan all provinces arranged intermediate examinations according
to their schedule. Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Sindh, Balochistan and
Azad Jammu and Kashmir are the provinces of Pakistan in which
educational boards conduct matric and inter exams every year.
In Punjab there are total eight educational boards which conduct matric
and inter exams. These are: Lahore Board, Gujranwala Board, Multan
Board, Faisalabad Board, Sargodha Board, Rawalpindi Board, Bahawalpur
Board and DG Khan Board. These boards announces intermediate date sheet
one month before the commencement of exams.
